Emotional Generator

Understanding the difference between my Not-Self patterns and the way I operate when I am more aligned became one of the most useful starting points for making changes in my life.

I first became interested in Human Design because people around me were talking about it. I have always been interested in the idea that there is some kind of higher structure to life, not only spiritually but also in terms of personal development, so I was curious to understand what Human Design could show me.

The situation

At the time, I was very burnt out in my career and had recently gone through a career pivot. I felt deeply unaligned with my life and could see that there were a lot of old patterns and conditioning that I had outgrown but was still carrying with me.

I had already tried therapy and coaching, but I wanted to understand myself from another perspective.

The work

The sessions surprised me because so much of the analysis validated things I already sensed about myself, both in my Not-Self patterns and in the parts of me that feel more aligned. Understanding those tendencies gave me a much clearer foundation for looking at my life.

The parts around Jupiter and Saturn were especially significant for me. Seeing the themes around development, consequence, and what happens when I move away from myself gave me a different way of understanding the patterns I had been living through.

What became recognizable

Since the sessions, I have become much more conscious of how I make decisions, especially in my career. As an Emotional Generator, I now understand that I need time before making important decisions rather than acting in the middle of an emotional wave.

Since then, I have felt more aligned in the way I work. And funny enough, I do not know if it is coincidence, but things have also started lining up differently in my business. I have been meeting more people who support its growth, and more clients who feel genuinely aligned with what I want to offer.

If this sounds familiar

I would describe the experience as very positive, and I think this kind of analysis is especially useful for people who genuinely want to understand themselves better and are willing to look closely at the conditioning they have been living through.
